Energy of Breath

Your openness and ability to flow in life is reflected in the way you breathe. You may notice that when there is a strong feeling of fear or pain, you unconsciously hold your breath. When there is a strong feeling of pleasure or joy, you naturally take full deep breaths.

Osho Breath Therapy supports the release of emotional stress, cleans your body of toxins, strengthens [the] psycho-neuro immune system and balances and harmonizes the body, leading to a healing integration of your conscious and unconscious mind. You will break through conditioned breathing patterns and open chronically tense physical and mental structures.

I’m Dharma Giten. I’m a licensed Massage Therapist and certified Breath Therapist with over 14 years of experience in many forms of bodywork and yoga. I’ve been trained in a variety of meditative and healing therapies at the Osho Multiversity in India, as well as the Miasto Meditative Institute in Italy.

Osho Breath Therapy is a body-oriented psychotherapy. Rebirthing, regression, hypnosis and meditation are synthesized in this highly intense breathing technique. Accompanied by touch and bodywork, this approach dramatically opens up the internal energy flow to allow you to experience your full capacity for power, love, and awareness. Osho Breath Therapy emphasizes the inter-connection between you and your breath. Through becoming aware of your patterns of breathing, you can consciously release non-supportive patterns, become grounded in your present reality, and open to your freedom of expression and radiant health.

During the session, we allow ourselves to explore what happens when we start to fully and deeply breathe in a different way than we are use to. The mind becomes more passive and the unconscious level is revealed. We start to experience and release repressed emotions and tensions embedded in the physical and subtle levels of our being.

After a session, it is natural to feel totally relaxed and at ease as your bathe in the rich "after-glow" which spontaneously follows such a deep release of physical and emotional tension.

In our future Osho Breath Therapy articles, videos, classes or retreats you can rediscover the spontaneity and innocence you had as a child and begin to love yourself and others from a broader foundation of trust and clarity.
