Rohi: There are interrelated patterns that play out in all areas of our lives. For example, if one of our patterns is that of never enough, it is likely to play out as never enough time, never enough energy and never enough of the things we think we need to look good or feel good. I’d like you to consider that true prosperity is a state of mind. It’s a state of mind where we feel that we have enough of the things that we really need.
Hello, I’m Rohi Custage. I’m a psychotherapist and Holistic Health Counselor who’s studied both Eastern and Western therapies. Formerly a professional ballerina, I’ve combined my expertise in health and fitness to design successful nutrition and wellness programs for my clients.
I’d like to talk to you not just about losing weight, but about an approach to nutrition that takes into account the impact that food has on our body and mind. What we eat affects the way our body feels and the way we think.
To achieve feelings of abundance and prosperity, I suggest you begin by eating nutritious foods that are energizing and life-supporting. In contrast, foods that contain excess acidity have a negative impact on the way you think and feel.
Just as we maintain a body temperature of approximately 98 degrees Fahrenheit, we maintain a slightly alkaline pH balance. The body struggles to maintain this delicate balance. Consuming acidic foods, such as sugar, white flour and carbonated beverages, can lead to cravings, sluggishness, overweight and disease. Empowered with information such as this, I have found that when my clients take care of their health and wellness, other areas of their lives also start to improve.
Linda (Rohi's client): By working with Kena I learned that health is not about control and willpower, but rather about acquiring knowledge. My addictions to sugar, chocolate and caffeine are gone and I’ve lost a few stubborn unwanted pounds.
True prosperity, to me, means knowing that I’m totally in charge of my health and how I feel.
Rohi: In upcoming articles and videos I can show you how the different properties of various foods affect your body, the way you feel and the way you think. I’ll also help you understand the causes of cravings for sugar and other addictive foods. Finally I’ll help you to eat with awareness. Most importantly, this is not a diet. It’s an approach to nutrition that can improve so many aspects of your life!
